and the number is 1013. Definitely preggars, and that means that September 2 was the day we did the deed (um, this is a hurricane Is.aac baby, by the way. College was closed for a week. DH's restaurant was closed for a few days. We did it when we were on a hurrication).
So, what does this all mean? I am trying to calculate. Implantation occurs 5 days after conception, so then I am technically 10 days post implantation. huh? How is this infertile supposed to do a beta number search when I am absolutely confused as to how to count this all.
I know--how about not obsessing and just wait until Wednesday's next beta. I also get to talk with the RE then, too.
The waiting room of the RE clinic brought back some haunting memories. The last time I was there, I was clutching a strand of ultrasounds that showed a triplet pregnancy, feeling nauseous, freaking out. Walking back in there was a bit weird for me.
So, yeah, pregnant for now. For reals.

You sound like I did when I was trying to figure out how far along I was. I'm pretty sure we had a late implanter because all my pregnancy websites say we conceived on March 12, but we DTD on March 8. DH and I were sure we were having a girl since those girly 'perms hang out much longer and our dates were so far off. But he's a boy. Congrats again!! Can't wait to follow your pregnancy.
Madness.
(turn off your word verification! lost last night's essay post to you!!)
Great number! Congrats again!
Holy crap!!! I just saw this post and the last one!!! Yep, you are definitely that urban legend! Congratulations!!! I'm so happy for you!!!
Woohoo!!! So, how has DH reacted? Are you still in shock yourself?
How will you survive without knowing the exact day of fertilization and implantation!!!? No beta searches for you! Sorry, I joke. Once you have experienced infertility and pregnancy after infertility, any second pregnancy, spontaneous or not, must bring with it all the same emotions you felt waiting to confirm your IVF pregnancy. Hang in there, you are in uncharted territory!
Oh my gosh!! That is so freaking awesome!!! Been away from Reader for a couple weeks and came back today - what fun news to see on my return!!! Can't wait to follow along!!!
