My Vegas

I think I am going to rename this blog "My Vegas," because after today, the gamble we are choosing to play is IVF. My consult was today and it went well. I am set to do IVF at the end of November/beginning of December. I'll update the sidebar to tell of the upcoming schedule.

And I left the RE with over half of the meds I need for this procedure. For free. All I need to do it buy Menopur. I can't believe they donated the Bravelle and Gonal-F and Ganirelix!!!!!! This is a huge savings. Don't get me wrong. We'll still be dishing out a bit over 10K for the procedure and around $800 for the Menopur!

Ouch!! Jeez it's absolutely criminal how much IVF costs.

BUT! I'm so excited for you!!! I can't wait to hear how it all turns out!

Wow - how exciting! You're doing it! That's amazing about your RE giving you some of those drugs - what a great doc! C'mon, big money, big money!!!

So glad that you were given all those meds for free!! It is insane how much it costs. All my crossables are crossed for you and I'll be following along with your blog.

It really is a huige gamble isn't it?! I have tried to explain to people, its like walking up to a casino table and putting 10 or 15k down on one bet. Nobody in their right mind (unless rich) would do that!!! But we want our babies. High risk, high reward! I am so excited about your upcoming cycle....how funny we both made decisions today to proceed with cycles! I am so excited and eager to follow you. Praying this is the one. I love all of your dates, seems like the perfect time of year to get that bun in the oven! xoxoxoxox

Oh my goodness, how exciting! The saving money part I mean. ;) haha Seriously though, what a great holiday "gift" it would be to get a BFP!

Yeah, its crazy that you go through the entire IVF process and its still a gamble. But, it is one of the "safer" bets in town or so I am told. I love your timeline additions. I told me RE I am going to get to a 5 day transfer, yay for the power of positive thinking. I will be watching you :)

I had a feeling it might be something like this. My version not nearly as clever, however.
