Thyroid WTF part 2

My TSH today came back at 2.3, so the RE says it's fine. I don't know what to think. I made an appointment to see an endocrinologist next week on Wednesday. Fellow blogger and success story, Kari, gave me some advice that I think I am going to take. She said to go with my gut, and like her, I plan to have someone monitor my thyroid on a regular basis.

Official IVF schedule:

BC pills: today through November 30
CD2 bloodwork and US, and start injections: December 2

Yippee!

I am not really looking forward to all the shots, but at least those are not going to be as difficult as the progesterone shots which are in the muscle with long needles! Yikes! Those shots begin after transfer. Oh lordy. I am going to be bruised!

You are going to be so surprised by how quickly the egg growing process goes by. Just keep busy, be good to yourself, and relax as much as possible. Counting down with you to 12.2.10!

An endocrinologist will look at all your thyroid levels and be able to tell you exactly what they mean and that's will be really helpful. Good luck with that appointment!! Your TSH varies throughout the day, I believe it's highest during the morning. Normally when they're monitoring it they like to do the draws at the same time each day in order to compare apples to apples. My RE didn't use the progesterone shots so I can't relate there, but I hope they aren't too bad for you. So excited for your cycle!!

Thank you for your support over this up and down shit show.

First rounds of IVF have the highest rates of success. Everyone knows this. ;)

I even have it in print. I will scan and email it to you.

I hate that there are so many different variables to infertility. Seriously, I love your idea of an IF checklist!

You're only going to be about a week behind me in your IVF - very exciting!
