Things have been hot and cold as far as the crazy gas and crying. I asked the doctor if giving him infant probiotics might help. She said there have been some studies that suggest it will; I am planning to get out to the store and purchase it for both me and him. Some days he is angelic, and some days he is inconsolable.
Today is an inconsolable day.
Nights have been good, though. He is in bed by 7:30-8:00. We wake him around 10:30 for dream feed of 3 oz, and that gets us to around 2:00ish. This morning it was 2:30. Then he eats and falls back asleep until 6:30ish. I love the nights. He seems to know it is night because his eyes stay closed nearly the whole time. Now, if we can find some routine for the days

That is an amazing night for a one month old! AMAZING!! He is precious!
Sooo stinkin cute!
Your night routine sounds wonderful! Give it time - I bet the daytime routine will get settled soon...
Love the pic - so very cute!
Sock-pants.
Brilliant.
He is so very handsome!
Adorable!! Glad to hear you're hanging in there.
He is so cute! I just want to kiss him. I find it interesting that our sons were conceived on exactly the same day, and mine is 10 weeks old and yours a month... They weigh the same.
Aw, what a cutie!
He's so handsome! Hang in there, the gas and crying are so upsetting. I remember that! And everyone says it gets better, and it's true, but it doesn't help all that much when they're inconsolable. =( Hang in there...
Oh my law, I came by to give you a little more love and I see a big trigger for my own personal stress in your blog post... "routine".
Are you reading the books? I think they are great. They sure got me through a lot, but the one thing they missed was this: no matter what you do or how perfectly you do it, that dang baby is going to do it on his or her own time!
By providing the routine over and over and over, it will eventually show up.... but you likely have a few wks to go before you get there.
Dont see it as a failure (I did). Dont think you are doing it wrong (I did). The shit just works itself out.
So much good stuff coming your way. Say the word and I am ready to talk. You can do this! You already are!!
aww he is super duper cute!
Your night routine sounds AMAZING! I am just a little teenie bit jealous :)
Hopefully your days start getting better. Happy 2 months!
Hey girlie - was thinking about you and wanted to drop a line. Hope things are getting a bit easier and your sweetie is finding at least somewhat of a routine for the day.
This shit is hard, but it does get better. Not easier per se, but better. Hope to hear from you soon. ((Hugs))
