checking in at 7w2d

I just wanted to check in to say thank you to all of you for your lovely words of support and encouragement. I really really needed it.

For the last week, I've been pregnancy sick. Friday and Saturday I was pretty ill, but I think it was mostly because of the fear/worrying kind of sick. I think I cried every 15 minutes both days. I threw up Monday and today. Nice. For some reason, I felt pretty good yesterday, but this morning and all day, forget about it. I get these sudden, violent hunger pains and it just sets me off into sickville. I am trying almonds right now; I heard they have magical effect on morning sickness.

Ok, totally boring post. I promise to be more lively tomorrow.

I'm finding the sicky feelings come and go - sometimes within hours, sometimes from day to day. You're doing great, momma; hang in there. (((Hugs)))

I hate feeling worried like that, I thought it would get easier but here I am at 11 weeks still freaking out. For some reason last night all my symptoms were gone and I was up all night worried, now today I'm sick again but still can't shake the fear. I wish this was easier for us!!!! They do say almonds work, so far I have not found that, for me the only thing that helps is eating constantly....haha, I have gained like 10 pounds!

FYI- for morning sickness, my doctor told me to take 1/2 a unisom with a vitamin b12. Hope you start feeling better soon.

For me ginger is magical. I have ginger candies, ginger tea, etc., and they all worked like a charm with the nausea. I hope that you feel better today!!

Sorry you're feeling sick - definitely talk to the doc about taking Zofran. I hope the worry/fear will get better. Maybe it would help to write out your fears here. It has helped me and many others in the past...

Unisom and b12 is definitely good too! I'm sorry you're feeling sick. I remember once laying on the bathroom floor after puking for the millionth time and crying. Hang in there!! Zofran is great also if you can get some from your OB.

oohh... sorry your so sick! I have been nauseated the last few days as well, no puking yet! I've been drinking ginger ale and sparkling water... it seems to settle my stomach. I am going to look into those ginger candies. My friend told me to get those sea bands for sea sickness. They worked for her! Hang in there!
