CD 18, 5 dpiui: shitake, sweet potatoes, black beans, and eggs

No news here other than my TCM diagnosis today was that my yin (or was it yang) radial pulse is weak, and the yin (again, or was it yang) is what controls the growing and nurturing in the uterus. She told me to beef up on shitakes, sweet potatoes, black beans, ad eggs, but cook them is a stew-like way so they aren't dried out. Hmm...I'm unsure of a recipe that would call for all four of those ingredients, but I am sure going to try.

I have also been instructed to take it easy; no excessive exercise or movement which is perfect right now as I am on vacation. Yes, I am thinking of the positive, but there is such a part of me that is afraid to be optimistic.

Try to think as positive as you can! It makes it so much better, if you can be happy and positive, as long as you possibly can.

Enjoy that stew thing you'll be making - definitely want a report on that one!

LOL I always mix up the Yin and Yang...whenever I try to repeat what she said I get it all backwards. I even mix up the liver, spleen and kidneys. Oh well, I guess thats what we pay them to keep track of?!

I heard of sweet potatoes, but my lady had me eat red beans and barley. They all have these magical potions, can't they come cook for us too?!

Think positive thoughts, they feel better than the alternative. ;)

I'm a little jealous, my acu doesn't tell me anything about my yin, yang, chakras, what have you. Just pokes needles in me, hands me herbs and sends me on my way!

However, I am not jealous about that stew, but I hope it tastes better than it sounds!! Good luck, try to stay positive. I'm with you on that - it's a lot easier said than done. Hang in there!
